How VetNarra handles health information

Our standard is traceability: owners should be able to tell whether a statement came from a veterinary record, an owner observation, general reference context or AI assistance.

Source hierarchy

Original veterinary documents and laboratory results are the primary source. Confirmed owner corrections come next. AI extraction remains pending until the owner reviews it.

  • Verified veterinary record
  • Laboratory result
  • Owner observation
  • AI-extracted pending confirmation
  • General species or breed context

What AI may do

AI may extract, organise, translate and explain information. It may help formulate questions for the next appointment. It must not invent missing dates, diagnoses, doses, clinicians or results.

Review and updates

Public educational material should display its purpose and review date. Health-related claims should be supported by authoritative veterinary or governmental sources before commercial launch. AI-generated drafts require human review before publication.
